CARDS IN AID OF HOLY TRINITY CHURCH'S ROOF
Here is a collage of Easter Cards/Greetings cards using local artist Michael Horner's paintings/photograph which are being sold in aid of Holy Trinity Church's Roof Appeal
All these will be in A5 with envelopes.
Four of the cards will be £1.50 each. The photo of the signpost on the footpath in Eggleston, and the sheep, are going on sale very soon at Hill Top shop behind the Moorcock in Eggleston and as those two designs are a slightly smaller size they are £1.20 each.
All packs of cards are £4.00 for packs of 5.
Pre-orders are being taken and left at the shop.
The wording is 'Sending wishes for a happy Easter' and some blank cards will be published in a number of designs in the future.
CHRISTIAN AID LUNCH TOGETHER
while keeping our Social Distance
In the recent past, the Churches in Teesdale have offered Friday soup lunches to raise funds to support the work of Christian Aid.
This year, we can’t meet to serve food in this way but we know that the people we have supported through Christian Aid in Africa and Asia are in need just as much as ever.
So this year we invite you to enjoy your Friday soup at home and join us in making a donation to Christian Aid.
Donations to Christian Aid can be made online via the dedicated Teesdale Christian Aid page:
Donations can be also made by phone directly to Christian Aid on 08080 006 006
Durham Foodbank with the Trussell Trust
There's a big yellow bin in the entrance to Middleton Co-operative store for donations of food which we deliver regularly to the Food Bank at The Well, in West Auckland. Thank you for your continuing support.
13 million people in the UK live below the poverty line. In our region that's 1 in every 4 people. Durham Foodbank provides support and a minimum of 3 days' emergency food to local people in crisis.
